Jen Kirkman is working on the very beginnings of a new hour of material and she wanted to start somewhere that doesn’t just involve running all over town doing five minutes here and there. It’s time to settle in and suck it up and give it to you guys rough. Some bits are ready and a lot are not. But as Lady Gaga said, “If it’s not rough it isn’t fun.” (And that’s the only Lady Gaga lyric Jen knows…)

Unofficial notice:
I will be embarrassed if no one shows up on Thursday the 1st but hey that’s the risk I take putting something together when most people will have a candy and costume hangover. I love doing comedy but I write with my head and my mouth - I find it hard to sit down with paper and pen and write “jokes” until AFTER I’ve said some stream of conscious things on stage and taped it. If you like seeing someone work out their process or just talk and tell new and very personal stories - I think you will really like what I’m doing Thursday night.
