From L to R. My brother Mike, my sister Lisa, me and my father in July of 2006. You can’t tell from the photo but this is THE turning point of my life. After a lengthy period of dealing with health and stupidity related problems I was in the middle of finally getting my life on track. This was the reconnection with the family portion of this process.
This photo was taken in Florida and was the first time we had all been in the same place in almost a decade. By the end of this trip we all had a better understanding of one another and my dad told a cop he could go fuck himself.
I returned to LA feeling pretty good about the future.
