Serpent At The Gates of Wisdom- A lost early 90’s gem from Robyn Hitchcock & The Egyptians.
I used to have this on a promo copy where Robyn went into the meaning of each song and he described this as an attempt to write a song that The Band would have created. I hadn’t heard it in years before seeking it out tonight. I liked it then and I still like it today.
